CSSD Coordinator Role

This is an exciting opportunity to progress in your career as a CSSD Coordinator.

You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services to stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct support, coaching, and education to technicians within the unit
  • Driving positive outcomes with a focus on quality of services and future planning
  • Acting as a technical expert within the unit, demonstrating specialized knowledge and skills
  • Collaborating with colleagues to support daily operations and organizational activities

You will also be responsible for leading staff meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination, implementing and coordinating the education program for technicians, and fostering positive relationships and cooperation with peers across various units and departments.

About You

We are looking for an individual with advanced knowledge of AS/NZS5369:2023 compliance requirements, excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated people management and leadership experience in a CSSD setting. You should have experience in roster management and workforce planning in a healthcare environment, a strong focus on sustainable business outcomes while prioritizing patient experience and outcomes, and strong critical thinking and judgment skills in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team, communicate complex ideas simply, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their work.
