About this role:

  • As a technical expert within the CSSD unit, you will demonstrate specialized knowledge and skills, ensuring high-quality clinical practices and standards.
  • You will collaborate with colleagues across the network to support daily operations and organizational activities, fostering positive relationships and cooperation.
  • Your responsibilities will include leading daily staff huddles/meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination, as well as implementing and coordinating education programs for CSSD technicians.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of AS/NZS5369:2023 and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated people management and leadership experience in a CSSD setting.
  • Experience in roster management and workforce planning in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong focus on sustainable business outcomes while prioritizing patient experience and outcomes.
  • Strong critical thinking and judgment skills in a fast-paced environment.
