About the CSSD Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to take on a new challenge as a CSSD Coordinator.

This exciting opportunity will be based at our Pimlico campus, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality services and support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and education to technicians within the CSSD unit.
  • Drive positive outcomes by focusing on quality of services, future planning, and collaboration with colleagues across the network.
  • Act as a technical expert, demonstrating specialized knowledge and skills in AS/NZS5369:2023 compliance.
  • Lead daily staff meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Implement and coordinate education programs for CSSD technicians.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of AS/NZS5369:2023 and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated people management and leadership experience in a CSSD setting.
  • Experience in roster management and workforce planning in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong focus on sustainable business outcomes while prioritizing patient experience and outcomes.
