Operational Expertise for Education Facilities

The Operational Expert in School Facilities will report to the Manager of Cleaning Services and collaborate closely with resource management specialists to ensure seamless service delivery.

About The Opportunity

This position requires an individual who can identify and implement evidence-based strategies to enhance health, safety, and wellbeing outcomes for cleaning staff and school officers, as well as develop innovative solutions for security, infrastructure, and planning-related services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and participating in teams to develop creative solutions for facility operations;
  • Providing high-level advice to senior executives on a range of issues;
  • Maintaining accurate information from departmental databases and systems;
  • Assisting in developing programs for facilities staff and facilitating training sessions;
  • Developing annual audit programs and conducting audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Current Working with Children Clearance (blue card);
