Program Support Specialist

The role of a Program Support Specialist is to provide high-level support activities associated with the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP). The specialist will administer, maintain and ensure the delivery of these activities.

This includes project systems, data gathering, data analysis and interpretation, producing reports for key stakeholders, and uploading infrastructure contract tenders in the QBuild eTender portal.

The specialist will provide non-technical support to project managers and team members, including establishing spreadsheets and registers, generating documents and reports, and providing updates to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities also include offering financial and project system training, guidance and support to project and contract managers. This involves consulting with internal and external stakeholders using professional communication.

The specialist will ensure operational practices comply with departmental and regional policies, legislation, and governance obligations.
