Procurement Specialist Job DescriptionAbout the Role

The Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in identifying and delivering material improvements through process efficiency, cost optimisation and demand management for customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled procurement professional to join our team and contribute to the development of organisational procurement policies, practices and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate experience in identifying and delivering material improvements through process efficiency, cost optimisation and demand management for customers.
  • Contribute to the development of organisational procurement policies, practices and systems.
  • Provide expert advice and support to clients and senior management on complex procurement issues.
  • Manage conflicting priorities and deliver projects to tight timeframes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record of delivering procurement improvements and cost savings.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement policies, practices and systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to advise and influence clients and senior management on complex procurement issues.
  • Project management skills, including scoping, prioritising and delivering projects to tight timeframes.
