Job Description

The role of Senior Advisor in Ministerial and Parliamentary Services is a key position within the organization. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to senior executives and ensure that the organization's responses and advice are timely, accurate, and consistent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Ministerial, Parliamentary, Executive, and other ad hoc requests across complex issues
  • Draft Ministerial correspondence, briefings, and advice
  • Prepare and review briefings for Senior Executives
  • Support preparation for Parliamentary sitting weeks, Budget Estimates, and public hearings
  • Respond to orders for papers and other requests arising from the Parliamentary process
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional writing skills and ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, guide, and support colleagues
  • Strong strategic thinking, aligning advice and actions with organizational objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Resilience, organization, and self-motivation, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Fast and independent learning, with the ability to undertake research and analysis
