About the Role

We are seeking an Electronics Repair Technician to join our team. As an Electronics Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing a wide range of electrical parts for our gaming machines.

You will identify, troubleshoot and analyse electrical faults in a diverse and wide range of parts, utilising blue prints, technical drawings and wiring diagrams to find the root cause and conduct all required repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electronic repairs of a range of parts such as computers, laptops, LCDs, cash handling equipment, power supplies and ticket printers
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and analyse electrical faults using blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams
  • Diagnosing faults using an array of test equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Maintain accurate repair records using electronic repair reporting programs
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritise tasks and ensure timely repairs
  • Adhere to company safety regulations and electronic code requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV or equivalent in electronic repair; associate degree in electronic engineering technology preferred
  • Proven experience as an electronic technician with component-level repair skills
  • Knowledge of electronic systems, wiring, and repair equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams
  • Proficient with manual and power tools for repair work
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, inventory management systems, and electronic repair reporting programs
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
