Area Manager, ICQA

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Manager, ICQA to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Inventory Control and Quality Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Assist the ICQA manager with storage capacity planning, providing weekly updates to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Defect Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify and analyze defect trends, providing insights to improve quality and reduce waste.
- Reporting and Data Analysis: Design and generate reports using MS Access and Excel to track inventory movements, quality defects, and other key performance indicators.
- Bin Management: Process requests to create new bins or change existing bins, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
- Inventory Movement Coordination: Coordinate the movement of inventory to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Quality Assurance: Investigate and resolve issues related to stock positions reported by all fulfillment centers, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to customers.
- Configuration Management: Maintain and update product collection paths with the Outbound department, ensuring seamless inventory management.
- Consolidation and Optimization: Audit the use of bins and provide recommendations on consolidation activities, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of inventory control and quality assurance specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
The ICQA team consists of 45 people outside of peak periods and can reach 120 people during peak periods. The team is responsible for guaranteeing the accuracy of the inventory, quality levels regarding the ingestion of errors in operational processes, and the management of space.
RequirementsWe are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, experience in employee and performance management, intermediate English proficiency, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc. The ideal candidate will also have experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques, and advanced English proficiency.
