Maintenance Coordinator

Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy for the company's helicopter fleet. Ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks while optimising resource allocation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with Fleet Specialists and Component Shop to ensure all required parts and inspections are organised.
  • Create Standard Parts Lists for routine tasks and maintenance procedures.
  • Order necessary parts from stores, ensuring timely availability and maintaining communication with the Stores section.
  • Provide Fleet Reports and Maintenance Schedules to the Maintenance Controller, including updates on upcoming maintenance activities.
  • Monitor Aircraft Components to ensure availability and compliance.
  • Prioritise and schedule work orders to minimise disruptions to production while maximising equipment uptime.
  • Co-ordinate available personnel, tools, and spare parts to ensure efficient maintenance task completion.
  • Analyse maintenance trends and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Current driver's licence valid for use in the work location.
  • Able to obtain and maintain an aviation security clearance.
About You
  • Aircraft Maintenance Knowledge and experience.
  • Solid understanding of helicopter maintenance practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Background and experience as an aircraft or helicopter technician or engineer.
  • Familiarity with helicopter systems, components, and their maintenance cycles.
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in an aviation environment.
  • Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiarity with aviation maintenance regulations and documentation standards.
