The maintenance coordinator oversees and coordinates all maintenance activities for the company's helicopter fleet. This includes ensuring timely completion of scheduled tasks while optimizing resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with Fleet Specialists to organize required parts and inspections for upcoming jobs.
- Develop and maintain standard parts lists for routine tasks and maintenance procedures.
- Order necessary parts from stores in relation to fleet planning, ensuring timely availability.
- Provide regular fleet reports and maintenance schedules to the Maintenance Controller.
- Monitor Aircraft Component tracking to ensure availability and compliance.
- Prioritize and schedule work orders to minimize disruptions to production while maximizing equipment uptime.
- Coordinate available personnel, tools, and spare parts to ensure efficient maintenance tasks.
- Monitor maintenance trends and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- A valid driver's license
- An aviation security clearance
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of helicopter maintenance practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements, as well as experience with scheduled maintenance programs, inspections, and airworthiness directives.
