We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely completion of scheduled tasks while optimizing resource allocation for our helicopter fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Fleet Specialists and Component Shop to organize required parts and inspections for upcoming jobs.
  • Develop and maintain standard parts lists for routine tasks and maintenance procedures.
  • Place orders for necessary parts from stores, ensuring timely availability and maintaining communication with the Stores section to address any potential supply delays.
  • Provide Fleet Reports and Maintenance Schedules to the Maintenance Controller, including updates on upcoming maintenance activities and potential supply delays.
  • Monitor the tracking of Aircraft Components to ensure availability and compliance.
  • Prioritize and schedule work orders to minimize disruptions to production while maximizing equipment uptime.
  • Coordinating available personnel with Engineering Business Support Officers, tools, and spare parts with Fleet Specialists to ensure efficient maintenance task completion.
  • Monitor maintenance trends and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize maintenance strategies.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license for use in the work location.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an aviation security clearance.
About You
  • Background in aerospace or aviation with knowledge of helicopter maintenance practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with scheduled maintenance programs, inspections, and airworthiness directives.
  • Familiarity with helicopter systems, components, and their maintenance cycles.
  • Planning and scheduling experience in an aviation or similar technical environment.
  • Ability to develop short-term and long-term maintenance schedules.
  • Knowledge of maintenance resource management, including tools, materials, and manpower.
  • Proficiency in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems or Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul software.
  • Microsoft Office tools proficiency, especially Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and Project.
  • Familiarity with aviation maintenance regulations and documentation standards.
