Operating Drill Rigs and Blasting Equipment Safely
Key Responsibilities- Operate drill rigs and blasting equipment to support productive mining operations.
- Ensure safe operation of drill rigs and blasting equipment in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Coordinate daily activities with the team to meet operational targets and maintain a safe work environment.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Valid Australian driver's license or higher required.
- Experience operating large-scale open-pit mining equipment, including proficiency in D65, Pit Viper 271, Sandvik, Cubex, and DML drill rigs.
- For Shotfirers: Valid Shotfirer's Ticket (mandatory) and ability to lead a blast crew with experience using electronic detonators.
- For Blast Crew & MPU Operators: Experience operating stemming trucks, loading holes, and operating MPU units for ANFO and pumpable products.
