Drill and Blast Operators – FIFO various Pilbara mine sites with Rio Tinto. Roles include Drill Operators, Blast Operators, Shotfirers, and MPU Operators. FIFO opportunities from Perth, Busselton, Albany, Geraldton, and Broome to support a smooth travel experience. • Operate drill rigs and blasting equipment to support productive mining operations.
• Coordinate and assist with blasting activities in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with daily stock checks and ensuring housekeeping and compliance within magazines and work areas as required for role.
• Work in a team to meet operational targets and support a safe work environment.

• Commitment to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your team.
• A valid Australian C Class manual driver's license or higher.
• A strong team mindset with the ability to work safely and flexibly to meet business needs.
• For Drill Operators: experience in large‑scale open‑pit mining environments and proficiency operating D65, Pit Viper 271, Sandvik, Cubex, and DML drill rigs.
• For Shotfirers: valid Shotfirer's Ticket (mandatory) and ability to lead a blast crew, with experience using electronic detonators.
• For Blast Crew & MPU Operators: experience operating stemming trucks, priming and loading holes, and operating MPU units for ANFO and pumpable products.
