Advancement and Employability Coordinator

This role presents an opportunity to contribute to the university's vision of transforming lives and advancing human knowledge.

The GUMURRII Student Success Unit is at the heart of Griffith's Indigenous student community, providing high-quality support for students in a safe and culturally appropriate environment.

The Advancement and Employability Coordinator leads initiatives to enhance the advancement and employability of First Peoples students across the University, working closely with internal and industry partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategically driven and evidence-based initiatives to achieve operational objectives linked to the GUMURRI Strategic Plan
  • Maintaining relationships with key partners as prospective sponsors and employers
  • Engaging with Community and Industry to provide advice on quality outcomes for Indigenous students
  • Identifying opportunities for cadetships, internships, and scholarships
  • Promoting employment experience opportunities to the First Peoples student cohort
  • Monitoring the external employment, training, and development environments

This is a full-time continuing position based at either the Gold Coast or Nathan campus, offering a range of benefits including salary packaging options, corporate health discounts, and generous leave entitlements.
