
Residential Aged Care Leader

As the Acting Residence Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential aged care home. This includes ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and operating procedures, managing human resources and financials, and maintaining a positive reputation within the community.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in effectively leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams, as well as a passion for aged care and ability to adapt to changing requirements.

- Role Model - Providing dynamic leadership to achieve efficient and effective management of human, material, and fiscal resources.
- Emergency Response - Remaining on call in case of emergencies and directing media inquiries to the Head of Operations.
- Compliance - Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and operating procedures.
- Human Resources - Partnering with the Director of Nursing to ensure staff are suitably qualified, compliant, experienced, and trained.
- Purchasing & Asset Management - Ensuring effective purchasing and asset management occurs within organisational parameters.
- Reputation - Maintaining a positive reputation within the community by ensuring the rights of Residents are protected.
We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate a strong understanding of aged care principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will need to have a minimum of three years' experience in Residential Aged Care, as well as relevant qualifications in Management or Business.
A current NDIS Workers Screening Check and Covid-19 Vaccinations are also required.
