Garden Maintenance Team Leader">

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to oversee our garden maintenance team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all garden maintenance activities are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve their goals. You will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and other stakeholders.

In addition to your leadership skills, you will have a thorough knowledge of horticultural practices and principles, with the ability to implement effective maintenance strategies. You will also have experience in supervising and training staff, as well as managing budgets and resources.

  • Lead and direct a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement effective garden maintenance strategies, taking into account the specific needs of our clients and the environment.
  • Supervise and train staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records, including attendance, performance, and maintenance schedules.
  • Interact with clients, responding to queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens, or equivalent qualification.
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • White Card, or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Drivers' license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
