Currently, Magnus Recruitment Solutions is seeking Gardener (General) in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Tasmania, and Perth.

We are seeking an experienced Gardener (General) to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the overall appearance of our clients' gardens and outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general gardening duties such as pruning, mowing, edging, planting, and watering
  • Use and maintain gardening equipment and machinery such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws
  • Apply fertilizers and pesticides as necessary to ensure the health of plants and flowers
  • Monitor and control pests and diseases in the garden
  • Maintain garden beds and ensure they are weed-free
  • Ensure that garden paths, patios, and other outdoor spaces are clean and well-maintained
  • Work with clients to identify their gardening needs and preferences
  • Develop and implement a garden plan that meets clients' expectations and budget
  • Communicate regularly with clients to ensure that their needs are being met

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Gardener or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture and plant care
  • Ability to use and maintain gardening equipment and machinery
  • Good physical stamina and strength
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license
