Agile Delivery Manager

Summary:

The Agile Delivery Manager is accountable for the delivery of Data Office Projects and initiatives across various domains.

To succeed in this role, you must have prior experience working in an Agile environment in a delivery capacity as either a Delivery Manager/Lead, Project Manager, or Scrum Manager/Lead.

In this position, you will be responsible for meeting key program/project delivery milestones and financial customer-centric KPIs. Strong financial and commercial management skills are essential to effectively manage project finances and meet sponsor expectations.

Duties:

As an Agile Delivery Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing programs/projects on behalf of the Data Office
  • Developing and maintaining stakeholder relations - both internal and external
  • Utilizing project management artifacts to ensure effective outcomes, such as:
  • Accurate forecasting
  • Meeting delivery timelines and schedules
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • Identifying business impacts resulting from project implementation and proactively managing them
  • Providing support to Delivery teams with resource, reporting, and financial management inputs
  • Resolving program/project/squad issues and disputes while maintaining constructive working relationships and achieving schedule commitments
  • Delivering financial submissions and updates to sponsors and senior stakeholders

Key Skills:

This role requires extensive engagement with senior management, necessitating strong negotiation and influencing skills. Contract negotiations and managing contracts (fixed price and T&M based) are also vital skills for success.
