Family Support Specialist

The role of Family Support Specialist involves working closely with families to empower and support them in overcoming identified challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of family dynamics and be able to develop effective interventions that build awareness and insight.

This position requires a high degree of autonomy, allowing the practitioner to work independently with families in their homes and translate initial engagement into a strong ongoing partnership.

  • Meet individual case performance targets as per weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboard system.
  • Provide high-quality practice in all interactions with clients, consistent with values and vision.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and facilitate client-led assessments to identify client goals.
  • Develop productive working relationships at all levels, supporting internal and external relationships, cooperation, trust, and respect.

Requirements include:

  • Current Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with 2 years' experience in social services.
  • Demonstrated ability working in a performance-driven environment to meet individual performance targets.
  • Ability to build client agency, self-efficacy, and facilitate change empowerment.
