The Thriving Queensland Kids Partnership (TQKP) is a coalition and intermediary, an initiative of and hosted by ARACY - theAustralian Research Alliance for Children and Youth - with Queensland partners. TQKP's purpose is to 'catalyse systems to change the odds for Queensland children and young people to thrive'.

• bringing people, organisations and sectors together,

• supporting leaders and catalysts, and
• facilitating collaborative action, innovation and development.

In this role...

You will support the implementation of the QLD Place Network - a collaboration of QLD place-based initiatives, governments and philanthropic organisations - established to address the systemic challenges facing children and young people. The network aims to build shared infrastructure that enables coordination, strengthens capability, fosters learning, improves efficiencies, and drives innovation, all grounded in the wisdom of local communities and the principle of 'places supporting places.'

As part of this work, you will also cultivate strong relationships with senior leaders across government, corporate, philanthropic, and community sectors to facilitate cross-sector collaboration to support the delivery of TQKP's purpose.

About You

• Substantial relevant practical experience in strategic partnerships, social impact strategy, stakeholder engagement, or systems-level collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-value and complex partnerships involving multiple stakeholders and sectors.
• Strong understanding of policy and systems impacting young people, particularly across government and philanthropic ecosystems.
• Experience with strategic planning, negotiation, and influence at senior levels.
• Experience in managing teams or mentoring team members, with a focus on building capability in partnerships and collaboration.
• Familiarity with collective impact, systems thinking, and/or place-based approaches to social change.

The benefits

TQKP offers flexible working arrangements and is located in central Brisbane.A remuneration package (range $125k - $133k FTE excluding super) will be negotiated with the successful applicant, commensurate with skills and experience.
