About the Role

As second in command, you will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of our residents' wellbeing.

  • Be accountable for assessment, planning and evaluation of resident care whilst fostering partnerships with family members to ensure provision of safe, quality care.
  • Promote a positive learning environment to develop the capability and knowledge of our carers and nurses.
  • Oversee clinical governance via a process of quality improvement, auditing and reporting.
  • Monitor availability and provision of clinical resources.
  • Develop clinical care programs to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Support strategic decision-making within the home.
What We're Looking For

You'll be an honest and ethical leader with a hunger to learn and challenge yourself.

  • At least 3 years in a clinical leadership role, preferably within a large aged care facility.
  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.
  • Qualifications as a registered nurse and current registration with the relevant authority.
  • Experience in managing teams and budgets.
  • Prior experience in clinical management within aged care is highly desirable.
