Job Description Summary
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Assistant Valuer to join our Alternatives – Valuations & Advisory business.
Cushman & Wakefield's professionals provide property valuation services and expert advice to commercial property owners, investors, and developers across their portfolios.
Based in Melbourne, you will support our Director, Valuations & Advisory, and team members.
The ideal candidate is a recent graduate aiming to start a career in Real Estate and become a qualified Valuer.
You will also be responsible for:
Source and collate comprehensive data about properties, including characteristics, title, sales, leasing info, costs, applications, plans, and recent transactions.
Attend inspections with senior team members to assess property condition.
Assist in analyzing property data, including financial modeling and market risks, aligned with local and economic conditions.
Support in producing valuation reports detailing property info, methodology, capitalisation rate, and potential risks.
Ensure reports meet compliance and quality standards.
Write location-specific market commentaries on market conditions.
Participate in client meetings with senior team members.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
To be successful, you will have:
A tertiary degree in Property or related field.
Desirable financial acumen and understanding of valuation components.
Strong analytical skills to identify data patterns and insights.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Good communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
