Clinical Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis at our Clinic located in Frenchs Forest.
This dynamic cancer clinic is transforming to become the leading integrated cancer centre across the Northern Beaches.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met.
- Effectively manage daily caseloads.
- Facilitate effective communication with staff and provide feedback and updates regarding patients.
- Ensure all patient interactions are documented, communicated and actioned.
- Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, practices and clinical guidelines in line with best oncology nursing standards.
- Ensure medication management protocols are followed.
- Demonstrate reliability, motivation and flexibility.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Prior experience in Radiation Oncology and/or Medical Oncology is desirable but not essential.
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with empathy for patients and their carers.
- Strong clinical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to plan and coordinate patient care.
- Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.
- Able to work collaboratively as a team member.
- Prior experience in Oncology is beneficial.
