Workshop Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our workshop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of experienced technicians and ensuring the efficient delivery of all workshop services.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and coordinating the work of technicians to ensure high-quality job completion and timely delivery
  • Overseeing the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of equipment
  • Monitoring workshop productivity and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Managing parts ordering, inventory control, and budgeting for workshop resources
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to the workshop team
  • Fostering a positive team culture and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Workshop Operations Manager or Senior Technician, leading mechanical teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles and equipment
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Relevant Trade Qualification (Light Vehicle qualified applicants encouraged to apply)
