Patient Transport Officer

This is a unique opportunity to join Ambulance Victoria as a Patient Transport Officer, working with a leading company in Australia. The role involves providing effective and efficient care and transport of non-emergency pre and post hospital patients.
About the Role
As a Patient Transport Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to cases in a timely manner
- Providing appropriate patient assessment, care, and transport, in accordance with applicable regulations
- Completing Patient Care Records and other relevant documentation in an accurate manner
- Providing effective patient handover to hospital staff/patient relatives
About You
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport or equivalent
- Current Victorian driver license
- Minimum 100 hours of on-road clinical experience completed within a two-year period
- Demonstrated understanding of Scope of Practice/Clinical Practice Guidelines for the role

Important Information
The successful applicant is required to:
- Drive and operate any of AV's operational fleet
- Attend a 4-week induction program during business hours in metropolitan Melbourne
- Live 45-60 minutes from the advertised work location (to manage fatigue)
