Patient Transport Officer

Are you passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are seeking a Patient Transport Officer to join our team in Bairnsdale & Sale.
About the RoleAs a Patient Transport Officer, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from medical appointments, as well as providing basic care and support during transport. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road
- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
- Assess the effectiveness of any intervention in accordance with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations
- Qualified as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) - Minimum of qualification of Cert III in Non-emergency Patient Care
- Experience working in the NEPT sector in an equal role desirable but not essential
- Hold a FULL Victorian Drivers licence and have the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
- Availability to work shifts across a 7-day roster (no night shifts)
