Patient Transport Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Patient Transport Officer to join our team in Warrnambool. As a Patient Transport Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport. You will perform patient assessments and interventions, develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders, and assess the effectiveness of any intervention in accordance with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessment and intervention on-road
- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
- Assess the effectiveness of any intervention in accordance with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) – Minimum of qualification of Cert III in Non-emergency Patient Transport
- Experience working in the NEPT sector in an equal role desirable but not essential
- Hold a FULL Victorian Drivers licence and have the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions and provision of a satisfactory driving history report
