Job Overview

The role of Inventory Coordinator at a medical equipment company is focused on coordinating loaned instruments, inspecting, packaging and distributing instruments used for surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving, inspecting and unpacking returned loan set kits from customers and hospitals
  • Maintaining instrument and implant sets to ensure loan kits are ready for use with proper functionality and cleanliness
  • Liaising with couriers, placing urgent orders and following up on PODs for loan and consignment stock
  • Resupplying and picking inventory for hospital consignment locations
  • Sending stock to the sales team for their inventories
  • Transacting accurately within the required time frame in an ERP system as per standard operating procedures
  • Fulfillment of online ecommerce orders including customer and database updates
  • Systematic cycle count of stock at Head Office
  • Receipt of stock at head office into systems and unpacking into appropriate bays
  • Order receipt and unpacking of office supplies
  • Manual handling may be required, up to 15kg
