We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a transportation specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining excellent customer service.

Job Description:
  • Drive heavy vehicles within and around the designated area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods, equipment, and inventory, taking care to secure items during transport.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues or defects promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide safe and efficient transportation services, prioritizing time management and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding transportation and logistics.
  3. Operate forklifts to load and unload goods, using proper techniques to prevent damage or accidents.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Current Heavy Vehicle Licence and proven experience in transportation operations.
  • Thorough understanding of transportation laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move objects, with physical stamina to perform duties.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in transportation software.
