Job Overview:

This position plays a vital role in the Expense Management team within the Finance Function. The successful candidate will collaborate with professionals to deliver strong expense management, capability uplift, and financial control through adherence to policies, processes, and standards.

The team performs activities including month-end close, forecasting, analytics, and investment management, while partnering with key stakeholders to empower the organization to deliver on cost accountabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful management reporting to senior executives and relevant business partners. Support the rationalization and automation of material entries to facilitate earlier closure of results. Uplift transparency and efficiency in cost attribution and allocation processes.

Support the execution of risk management and financial control requirements in line with all financial standards, policies, frameworks, and standards. Support the standardization, simplification, and automation of report production processes into digital solutions.

Prepare standard analytics and insights for appropriate financial views for performance management and accountability. Contribute to the production of corporate reporting, preparation of divisional and group expense disclosures, and insights for costs.

Support the Expense Management team to provide finance partners with automated forecasting and planning processes, provision of scenario modeling, and analytics of the financial impacts of business operational and strategic actions.

Requirements:

Previous experience in financial management and the financial services industry. Professional accounting qualification completed (e.g., ACA, CPA, CIMA). Qualifications in commerce or business-related disciplines.

Ability to effectively influence, negotiate, and manage expectations with peers and senior team members. Solid understanding of technical finance & accounting competencies. Understanding of business performance drivers. Ability to operate through ongoing change.
