About the Role

This role involves overseeing a team of artists to produce visual effects, set up working shot pipelines and deliver final elements for shots on a project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and creative leadership to a team of artists ensuring clear communication between them, production teams and show leads/supervisors.
  • Contribute to bidding and crewing for a project offering feedback on crew and pipeline improvements when requested.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a CG Supervisor or Sequence Supervisor in high-end live action VFX work.
  • Excellent creative eye and aesthetic judgement.
  • Strong ability to interpret clients' vision and relay it to internal teams of artists.
  • Ability to sell creative solutions and ideas to clients.
  • Expertise in reducing complex problems to their simplest solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of the complete VFX pipeline.
  • Strong history of collaborating with R&D teams and deploying new tool specifications in production environments.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Maya and other industry-standard software.
