Mathematics Professor

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Advanced Mathematics Teacher for Years 11 and 12 students.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and effective Advanced Mathematics lessons for Years 11-12 students, adhering to the HSC Advanced Mathematics syllabus.
- Cover all aspects of the HSC Advanced Mathematics curriculum, including advanced mathematical concepts and techniques.
- Implement innovative teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring optimal student outcomes.
- Provide individualised support to help students overcome mathematical challenges, promoting academic excellence.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students, facilitating their growth and development.
- Stay current with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) curriculum requirements, ensuring teaching practices align with industry standards.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, remain updated on best practices, and improve instructional strategies.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with Mathematics major, or Mathematics degree with teaching qualification, or currently enrolled in relevant education/mathematics degree programme.
- NESA accreditation or experience and skills in Advanced Mathematics (Years 11-12 level), with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality educational experiences.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with Extension Mathematics (Extension 1 & Extension 2) would be advantageous.
- Previous HSC tutoring or coaching experience would be highly valued.
