Job Title:

Culinary Assistant - Aged Care

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Culinary Assistant in our aged care facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for students studying commercial cookery courses to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and rewarding setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare daily meals and beverages that meet individual needs of each resident, including special dietary requirements.
  2. Craft well-balanced and nutritious meals that promote the health and wellbeing of our residents.
  3. Maintain excellent safety awareness and adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols in food preparation and serving areas.
  4. Bring your genuine care and compassion to meal times, making each dining experience unforgettable and enjoyable for our elderly residents.
  5. Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Eligible to work in Australia and living in the local community.
  2. Prior experience in preparing and delivering meals in a commercial environment.
  3. NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or ability to apply for one.
