Senior Marketing and Engagement Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a communications professional to join our team as a Senior Marketing and Engagement Specialist. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engagement plans and initiatives mainly for our Marketing & Trading Division.

You will work collaboratively with our Corporate Affairs Team and across the business to develop and deliver communications and marketing plans for established and expanding areas within our organisation. Your projects may range from producing a marketing campaign to travelling regionally to produce a video to developing collateral for a corporate event.

This is a full-time fixed-term opportunity until February 2027, and we welcome applications from diverse backgrounds. As a Senior Marketing and Engagement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to build your in-house communications and marketing experience and/or branch out into a different sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering communications and marketing initiatives to farmers, employees and customers
  • Developing engaging content for our website, intranet, presentations, speeches and other corporate communications channels
  • Providing advice to senior leaders on effective communications on a range of matters including farmer relations, media relations and employee engagement activities
  • Supporting media relations and social media activities including preparing media statements and responses
  • Providing support when required for other areas of the Corporate Affairs team, including the delivery of grower-focused and corporate events

Requirements

  • A communications all-rounder with particular experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns or initiatives that achieve results
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in marketing and employee communications
  • An ability to work collaboratively and quickly establish effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • A degree in communications, marketing, journalism or similar with at least 5 years' experience in a related work environment
  • Experience with the agricultural industry will be highly regarded
