Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned in-house lawyer with strong commercial contracting experience to join our team as a Legal Consultant.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of general commercial law, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work autonomously while prioritizing tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with commercial contracting needs, providing expert legal advice and guidance.
  • Partner with clients to understand their business goals and objectives, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, legislative changes, and best practices in commercial contracting.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial contracting, preferably in a in-house or consulting role.
  • Strong general commercial contracting experience, with a focus on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Relevant experience in industries such as financial services, FMCG, energy, government, construction, education, hotels, leisure, gaming, mining, TMT, and transport.
  • M&A experience, particularly involving the integration of new companies into existing corporate structures and joint ventures.
  • Procurement experience, including the negotiation of commercial contracts with suppliers and service providers.
