We are seeking an experienced patient services professional to join our team at a leading healthcare provider.

Job Description:

The role of Patient Services Officer is critical in the cancer journey of our patients, serving as their first point of contact. This position requires a high level of customer service skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.

  • Provide efficient and empathetic service to patients face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Work across various workstations, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
  • Book and confirm patients for appointments and consultations.
  • Billing and receipting at time of appointment.
  • Accurately process relevant paperwork, including data entry.

This role also involves liaising with the team to ensure efficient processes and managing patient records and filing of patient notes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience working successfully both independently and in a team environment.
  • Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle high volumes of patient inquiries.
