About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a small but impactful team dedicated to enhancing cancer care and coordination across Australia.

  • Lead a team of two APS6 staff, driving the implementation and growth of the Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network (ACCN).
  • Provide secretariat support to the ACCN Committee, overseeing stakeholder engagement, coordination and the management of the ACCN portal.
  • Manage internal deliverables such as project management, presentation inputs and reporting.
  • Contribute to the broader strategic vision for cancer care, working closely with other teams and key stakeholders within the Health Portfolio.

  • A strong track record of leadership experience, including managing teams and driving strategic initiatives to successful outcomes.
  • A deep understanding of the health system and its complexities.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build long-term relationships.
  • Strong project management and risk management experience, with a proven ability to deliver complex projects within set timeframes.
