Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent part-time Family Advisor, working 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). You'll be based at our Blacktown office, where you'll work closely with our Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners to provide comprehensive intake and assessment services to clients. Your primary focus will be on ensuring client safety, particularly when it comes to child wellbeing, while also providing relevant information and referrals to internal and external support services.

The details:

  • Permanent part-time position (3 days/week)
  • Based at our Blacktown office
  • Approximate salary: $42,000 - $52,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience), plus superannuation, leave loading, and tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900

About You

We're looking for an experienced professional who has a strong background in human services, preferably in a role that involves direct client contact. You'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to assess and engage with clients from diverse backgrounds. Your understanding of family dynamics, domestic and family violence, child safety, trauma-informed practice, mental health, and wellbeing will be essential in providing high-quality services to our clients.
