Job Description:

As a Mortgage Specialist, you play a vital role in building our business network and promoting our products and services.

You work closely with your colleagues to serve existing customers, helping them with new lending and developing referral networks to introduce new lending customers to your team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing home loans through to completion
  • Growing pipeline and scanning for opportunities
  • Helping Australians own their own homes

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in mortgage lending or credit assessment
  • Demonstrated experience working with all banking products
  • Proven ability to network with key stakeholders and pursue leads
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve complex financial problems
  • Strong autonomy with strong team connections
  • Exceptional stakeholder management

PREFERRED SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Thorough knowledge of Financial Services Code and Acts
  • ASIC Tier 2 requirement or ability to acquire
  • Cert IV in Mortgage Brokering (desirable)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
