Job Title: Regional Justice Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Regional Justice Specialist. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing policy initiatives that promote social justice and human rights in regional communities.

About the Role:
  • Lead the development of policy initiatives and advocacy strategies to address housing, legal, and climate justice issues in regional areas.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and service providers, to identify and address systemic barriers to justice.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to project teams working on justice-related projects, ensuring that projects are community-led and evidence-informed.
  • Represent the organization in government consultations, sector collaborations, and media engagements, promoting our values and mission.
Requirements:
  • Deep commitment to social justice and human rights, with experience in policy development, advocacy, and project management.
  • Strong understanding of legal, housing, climate, or social policy issues affecting regional and marginalized communities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to engage diverse audiences and influence decision-makers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with services, community groups, and governments to align and progress common priorities.
