
Housing Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Housing Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Housing First principles and be able to provide flexible, trauma-informed, and culturally safe case management support to individuals and families in need.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to social justice and a passion for working with vulnerable community members. As a Housing Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing individual needs, developing and implementing personalized case plans, and providing ongoing support to help clients achieve their housing goals.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners. They will also have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare, or Behavioural Science, or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare, or Behavioural Science
- Knowledge and understanding of the Housing First Principles
- Experience in providing holistic, strength-based, trauma-informed case management support
- Ability to assess individual needs and develop case support plans
