About the Role

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in performing prudential supervision and risk assessment across defined banking organisations. This position involves contributing insights to policy reform on Australia's payments regulation and licensing framework.

The Team You Will Collaborate With

You will work closely with internal stakeholders including risk specialists and external agencies like Government departments and regulated entities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and escalate issues through appropriate channels.
  • Apply your understanding of frameworks, standards, legislation, and risks they mitigate.
  • Analyse internal structure and business relationships of supervised organisations focusing on high-risk areas.
  • Engage with organisations to assess management, strategies, practices, and systems.
  • Foster effective relationships with internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
  • Contribute to policy through collaborative engagement with stakeholders from APRA and the financial sector.
  • Evaluate licensing applications and assess compliance with prudential standards.
