Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at the Council's Botany Depot. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing fault diagnoses and plant, vehicle, and equipment servicing and repairs to ensure that our fleet is safe, efficient, and reliable.

This is a challenging role that requires strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our team of mechanics to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles and equipment, from small machinery to large trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on plant, vehicles, and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults in complex mechanical systems
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve common goals

Requirements:

  • Qualified Mechanic - heavy vehicle license preferred
  • Ability to fault-find and repair hydraulic, diesel, and electrical components
  • Safe Work NSW white card (general construction induction card)
  • Proven track record of working effectively as part of a team
  • MR/HR Driver's Licence preferred or willingness to obtain
