Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Opportunity

SkyBus, a leading mass transit bus operator, is proud to announce the expansion of its iconic brand into NSW. As part of this exciting new chapter, we are seeking qualified mechanics to join our team at Sydney Airport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of our fleet, including Battery Electric vehicles. This is a workshop-based role where your skills, attention to detail and commitment to high standards will make a real impact every day.

  • Conduct scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on buses (including Battery Electric vehicles)
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and manufacturer standards
  • Work collaboratively with the Fleet and Workshop team to meet operational deadlines
Key Requirements
  • Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or similar
  • Experience in bus, truck or commercial vehicle maintenance
  • A safety-first mindset and pride in delivering quality work
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • HR licence (or willingness to obtain) desirable
  • Ability to obtain an Australian Security Identification Card (ASIC)
