Job Description

\

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll contribute to feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management. You'll collaborate with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers.

You'll have the flexibility to work from one of our offices in Australia, including Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth, or Melbourne.

Responsibilities

  • Structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways, and appurtenant structures
  • Conceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of dams
  • Inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams
  • Construction support services, including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data, and construction reporting
  • Preparation of tenders and proposals and providing mentoring

Requirements

\
  • Demonstrated capability in structural design, including preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications, ideally within the dam industry
  • Positive attitude and ability to see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and grow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and the local industry
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline (essential)
