About the Role

The Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Education Officer to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of diabetes education and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and resources for health professionals and Credentialled Diabetes Educators (CDEs).
  • Manage and develop eLearning resources, including creating and updating educational materials and online content.
  • Facilitate the endorsement of external educational activities and accreditation of postgraduate diabetes education courses.
  • Engage with stakeholders and provide support to relevant committees.
  • Assist in developing the program for conferences, workshops, and educational events.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the education program and prepare reports for management.

To be successful in this position, you are a self-motivated professional with a passion for education and healthcare. You have excellent communication skills and a talent for developing engaging educational content, particularly in digital formats.

Your strong organisational abilities allow you to manage multiple activities simultaneously, and you have a keen eye for detail when it comes to program evaluation and reporting.

You're a collaborative team player who can work effectively with diverse stakeholders, from healthcare professionals to academic institutions.

About the Benefits

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with an attractive salary circa $85,000 - $90,000 per annum (including 11.5% super) plus up to $18,550 PBI and salary sacrificing benefit options.

This position is based in Canberra and ADEA offers flexible working arrangements.
