About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at The University of Queensland. This is a research-focused position that offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in molecular biology and peptide drug development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a research program and collaborate with colleagues on research projects.
  • Supervise students and recruit and manage employees.
  • Develop partnerships and demonstrate leadership through mentoring.
Requirements
  • Completion of a PhD in fields relating to molecular biology.
  • Strong experience with molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, including PCR, cloning, and recombinant protein expression.
  • Experience with cell biology techniques, including cell culturing, flow cytometry, would be considered favourably.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including evidence of publications in reputed refereed journals and presenting at conferences.
