We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow/Research Fellow. The successful candidate will lead research activities and contribute to collaborative work focused on improving the observability of digital advertising.
Key Responsibilities- Independently lead research activities and contribute to collaborative work focused on improving the observability of digital advertising.
- Develop and implement novel approaches for studying the automated advertising model of digital media platforms.
- Support data donation research with Australian participants and work with the project team to develop data donation methods.
- Manage the recruitment and engagement with participants, organise and analyse donated data.
We are looking for a researcher with a strong background in Media Studies, Cultural Studies, Science and Technology Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Public Policy or a related field. The successful candidate will have a growing profile in research related to automated-decision making, advertising and/or digital media platforms.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to represent and promote the Centre, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
