About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our prestigious School of Psychology at The University of Queensland. This is a full-time, fixed-term position commencing January 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality research on the School's GROWTH project, a public health solution for the prevention and management of loneliness.
  • Work with academic and community partners to develop a new integrated, sustainable community-focused approach to address loneliness.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals, reports, and publications.
  • Engage in service and engagement roles and activities within the Centre.
Requirements
  • PhD in Psychology or a related field.
  • Expertise in social, clinical, and/or applied psychology.
  • Excellent research and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A competitive salary range of $78,871 – $105,004 (Level A) or $110,365 - $130,765 (Level B) + 17% Superannuation.
